Monitoring Dashboards

IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect is monitored from the TC^x portal, a single pane of glass that brings ordering, inventory, reporting, ticketing and billing together in one place. The monitoring dashboards show reachability, interface state and utilisation for every connection in your inventory, filtered by group and time window, so you can see the health of each site, router and link without leaving the portal.

Where the dashboards live

All monitoring for IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect is delivered through the TC^x portal. From the side bar, open the Reports area and select the IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect product. The reporting workspace is organised as a set of views along the top: Admin Search, Dashboard, At a glance, Trend Report, Top N Report, Advanced Report and Inventory. Three controls sit above every view and shape what you see:

Control	What it does
Groups	Scopes the view to a set of services, for example “My Assigned Groups”. Use it to focus on one customer, region or solution.
Select Date Range	Sets the reporting window (start and end date and time). Live dashboards default to the recent window; trend and historical views accept a longer range.
Refresh	Sets the auto-refresh interval (for example every 15 minutes) or turns refresh off for a static view.

Times and dates follow the time zone shown on the report (for example Asia/Calcutta), and the underlying data is collected at a 5 minute sample size.

The Dashboard view

The Dashboard view is the live health board for your services. It is split into three tabs:

Tab	What it shows
Reachability	Whether each monitored element is currently reachable (up or down), so you can spot an outage at a glance.
Interfaces	The operational state and key counters of the interfaces that make up each connection.
Utilization	How heavily each interface is loaded, as a percentage of its provisioned bandwidth.

The Utilization tab lists every interface with its friendly Interface Alias Name, the Service Id, and three utilization figures: the current Utilizations, the Utilization Min and the Utilization Max over the selected window. Because each row carries the Service Id and the alias you set in inventory, you can tie a utilization figure straight back to a specific connection.

The At a glance view

The At a glance view is a per element deep dive. You choose an element (a connection or interface) and the view plots its core metrics over the selected window on a single screen. For an IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect connection the metric set includes:

Bits Per Second In and Bits Per Second Out, plus combined Bits Per Second, for throughput in each direction.
Utilization In (%), Utilization Out (%) and combined Utilization (%), for how full the link is.
Availability (%), for uptime over the window.
Discards In (Packets) and Discards Out (Packets), an early sign of congestion or shaping.

Finding the connection you want to watch

Monitoring is driven by your inventory, which you can browse by Map, Site, CPE and Link views. Each object can carry an Alias, a business-friendly name you assign so that a Service Id such as 091MUMBA00000430516 also reads as, for example, “Mumbai DC - AWS primary”. Set aliases once and every dashboard, report and ticket becomes easier to read. To locate a service quickly, use Global Search with a Service Id, Site ID, Site Name, Location or Alias.

What you can and cannot see today

The dashboards cover throughput, utilization, interface state, reachability and availability per connection, drawn from 5 minute samples. Latency, jitter and packet loss are reported through the performance views described in Performance Reports.
