The Multi Cloud Ecosystem
IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect is one service in a broader Tata Communications connectivity ecosystem. It handles private, on-demand connections between your sites and your public cloud providers, and it is designed to sit alongside - not replace - your existing wide-area network, data-centre, and internet services.
What “the ecosystem” means here
Most enterprises do not buy cloud connectivity in isolation. They already operate a wide-area network between offices, links into one or more data centres, and internet access for general traffic. IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect is built to slot into that existing picture, adding private reach into the public clouds without forcing you to re-architect everything else you run.
The service draws on the same global backbone that Tata Communications uses for its other managed network services. That shared foundation is what lets a connection you order for cloud access behave consistently with the rest of your network: the same private routing, the same performance commitments, and a single provider to deal with for support.
The services it works alongside
You do not need every service below to use IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect. They are listed so you can see where cloud connectivity fits relative to connectivity you may already have.

Global Virtual Private Network (GVPN) |
A private, SLA-backed wide-area network between your enterprise sites |
Acts as the on-premises underlay that carries traffic to and from the cloud connection, and can hand traffic into the cloud connection where branches need private cloud reach |
|
Internet and Extended Access |
Internet-based access for sites that are not on the private network |
Provides an alternative underlay; encrypted IPSec tunnels and VNFs |
|
IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect (this service) |
Private, on-demand connections from your network into public cloud providers |
The cloud-facing layer that terminates against each cloud provider |
Why it is delivered as one ecosystem rather than separate products
Two practical benefits come from these services sharing a backbone and a single management portal:
-
One place to manage your connections - Ordering, inventory, changes and billing for your cloud connections are handled in the TCx Portal, the same portal used for other Tata Communications services, so day-to-day management sits in one place. (The cloud-side connection itself is created in your cloud provider’s console; see “What’s on the cloud side” on the relevant pages.)
-
Consistent private behaviour - Because the cloud connection runs privately over the Tata Communications backbone instead of the public internet, routing and performance are predictable from your site through to the cloud, rather than changing character at each hand-off.
