Performance Reports

The TCx portal ships with a set of built-in performance reports for IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect. Trend, Top N and Advanced reports cover traffic utilisation, peak and average throughput, availability, and device health (CPU and memory), with round-trip delay, jitter and packet loss for performance, all exportable for offline analysis and capacity planning.

Getting to the reports

From the side bar, open Reports, select the IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect product, then use the Inventory tab to confirm the services you want to report on. The reporting views are:

Report

What it gives you

Trend Report

Time-series charts of traffic per connection, for example Bits Per Second In and Out over the selected window. Select the service from a Group to plot it.

Top N Report

A ranked view of the busiest connections or interfaces, useful for spotting the heaviest talkers across a large estate.

Advanced Report

Availability plus device health: CPU utilisation and memory utilisation, alongside utilisation figures.

At a glance

A single element, all metrics at once (throughput, utilisation, availability, discards). See Monitoring Dashboards.

A typical flow is: open Trend Report, pick the service from the Group, read the traffic utilisation for the connection, then switch to Advanced Report for availability, CPU and memory.

What the reports measure

Across the reporting workspace the available metrics are:

Category

Metrics

Utilisation

Transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx), in Kbps and as a percentage of provisioned bandwidth; minimum, average and maximum over the window.

Throughput

Bits Per Second In and Out per connection.

Availability

Live and historical uptime for site, CPE and link.

Performance

Round-trip delay, jitter and packet loss (CE-to-CE).

Device health

CPU, memory and disk utilisation for the connection’s routing element.

Traffic insight

Top application and top user views, where applicable.

Underlay

Consolidated underlay report: network uptime and link uptime for Internet and MPLS.

Export and retention

Reports can be downloaded for offline analysis and record keeping. Downloadable reports include site availability, link availability, device availability, link usage, CPE health (CPU, memory, disk) and application usage over a chosen period. Use the Download control on each report view.

Worked example: capacity planning for a retail estate

A retailer runs IZO™+ Multi Cloud Connect Direct from 40 stores into a cloud hub, each store provisioned at 50 Mbps. Ahead of a festive sales peak, the network team opens the Trend Report for the store group over the last 90 days and reads the Utilisation Max per connection. Stores sitting below 40% peak are left unchanged; the eight stores that touched 70% or more are shortlisted for an uplift to 100 Mbps, raised as bandwidth changes (see Bandwidth Changes). The Advanced Report confirms CPU and memory headroom on the routing elements so the uplift will not be constrained at the device. The exported CSVs become the evidence pack for the capacity request.
