Tata Communications, a leading communications technology player, today announced the appointment of Narottam Sharma as Chief Transformation Officer. He will take charge of the new role from September 2026 and will be a part of the Global Management Committee at the company. 

A seasoned technology leader with more than two decades of experience, Narottam brings great expertise in enterprise-wide digital transformation, AI-led operating model redesign, large-scale process reengineering, and technology-driven business transformation. Throughout his career, he has successfully led complex, cross-functional transformation programs spanning core business operations, supply chain, customer experience, and corporate functions, delivering significant business impact through technology and innovation.

He will be joining Tata Communications from Jubilant FoodWorks, where he works as the Chief Information Officer. Before Jubilant FoodWorks, Narottam held a senior transformation leadership role at Mastek, where he drove a multi-track enterprise transformation agenda to support business growth and scale. Earlier in his career, Narottam served as Head Technology Transformation at Sterlite, where he led enterprise-wide business and technology transformation initiatives for the organisation’s 27-year legacy operations.
