Connecting On-Premises Active Directory to AWS
One of the ways to extend the Active Directory is through an AD Connector, which is a directory gateway that redirects directory requests to your on-premises datacenter without caching any information in the cloud. Second method is through AWS managed AD which creates a fully managed, Microsoft Active Directory in the AWS Cloud.
